When talking about my Nana one of the first things I say is that we are basically the same person, with a difference of 50 years. Spending time with her reminds me of my own creativity, intelligence, humour and beauty – because to be related to such a graceful woman must mean that I too possess at least a sliver of that grace. I am grateful everyday to have her in my life. I love you Nana.

I just fell in love with this woman’s look – I sort of picture myself looking like this at her age….one can only hope! Her choice of crimson for lipstick and nails as well as her stunningly beautiful jewelry (of which I wish I had better close ups) made her stand out from the crowds on Davie Street. One word – striking!
We keep running into this woman around town and every time we see her she looks great! Love the lace tights and red accents.

I spotted this woman’s beautiful mink coat from behind and followed her across a busy New York crosswalk until I was able to ask for her picture. When she turned around I was even more pleased to see the deep red sunglasses and lipstick. Very glamorous.

This woman’s name is Audrey and she is well suited to it. She was sitting outside of the mall when I saw her. She was smoking a cigarette and looking stunning in her bright pink lipstick.
The coat reminds me of the cape coat that popular Finnish style blogger Ranna wore last year, as seen below on her blog, Only Shallow.

After the tenth day of fog, head-to-toe tartan mixed with a bit of houndstooth just made sense. The Highlands weren’t far from anyone’s mind.
This woman’s style often inspires compliments, she told us. So our interest in taking her photo came as no surprise. She let us snap a few photos before she went off to feed the ducks.
