This woman modeled in NYC for five years and she’s stunning to this day.  Gone are the days, however, of floating through Soho in perilous heels.  She looked sleek and sporty in her Pumas, which perfectly matched her outfit.  I bet she has a shoe closet full of sneakers in every color.

I don’t know if it’s wrong to say, but this woman is so incredibly sexy! She has the outfit, the stance and the red lipstick. She’s a woman in control, independent and getting what she wants in life. I so rarely get to see seniors in heeled black boots and I would love to know this woman’s secret on how to be comfortable and sexy at the same time.

I was first drawn to this fellow by his square tinted glasses. He told me a story about meeting a young woman  from Mexico on the street in Vancouver. She asked him for his address and for the next  14 years she wrote him letters, telling him about her life and asking him to visit. He never did make the trip, but he said she was one of the best friends he ever had. Street fashion blogs, frivolous or magical?

What a treat to shoot Granpaparazzi pictures in New York.  This woman is no stranger to the camera.  Apparently she’s been asked to have her picture taken in this fabulous coat before.

I love this woman’s look. Off-kilter bangs, thick frames and prep-school shoes.  So unusual for her generation (she’s older than she looks).

I caught this beautiful woman on a gorgeous winter day full of sun. Her bright color choice was accessorized perfectly with shiny black riding boots and classic Coco Chanel shades. What you don’t see are layers of that same blue tone on the shirt beneath her jacket and repeated again on a blue tartan wrap beneath the knitted toque, which is open in the back. This smart layering of color and texture made her more captivating than the blue sky above us.

This look is pretty common in most cities around the world but in Vancouver it’s a rare guy over 50 who wears this type of thing.  He looks great and I love his warm smile.
