This foxy grandma was spotted on the North Coast of Oahu, Hawaii. She says people call her Aunt Betty and she has lived in Hawaii for over 50 years with her husband. Both are in their 80′s. She certainly looks well adjusted to the tropical climate.

These two gentlemen were having a conversation under the watchful eye of Capt. John “Gassy Jack” Deighton, a talkative saloon keeper who was the first to settle in Gastown in Vancouver. After taking the photo, one gentleman surprised me when he said he runs a social media site called Sowhatdoyouthink.com. Not all Captains sail ships.

This guy just blows my mind! He had no qualms about posing for the camera, throwing a little sass my way. He was one of the models for the Lester’s Army version of GranPaparazzi, where youth critique senior fashion, and seniors critique youth fashion. To see more pictures of this fab dude, check out Issue 4 of Lester’s Army, launching Friday, March 18, 2011 in Vancouver.

This lovely lass hails from the UK and has style that stops traffic! She told me she’s done some modeling in her day and it shows. I love her peep-toed red heels (especially commendable in winter) and a Chanel shopping bag looks appealing on any gal’s arm.

I love the white high-tops with the plaid dress. It’s a pretty senior look, and it works.

Need I say more? Charming.

This woman was all dressed up for an event GranPaparazzi.com attended last year, celebrating the 1940s and I’ve decided to post them. I love her velour top and dangling necklace.

Happy New Years viewers! Yes, GranPaparazzi is still kicking. We have all sorts of exciting things planned for you this year including contests, events, a book deal (hint hint Raincoast Books). What am I forgetting? Oh yes, we’ll be delivering you more good old fashion street style.
This woman epitomizes my outlook on life: if it’s wet and gloomy, wear hot pink.
And a good rain slicker.

This gentleman was out strolling on the main strip with his wife. I think he looks so debonair in his leather trench and the whole outfit is so put together. He’s definitely working his street style.

I attended theĀ Whistler Film Festival opening gala Wednesday night with my husband, who worked on the opening movie Daydream Nation and there were dozens of gorgeous, fabulously dressed seniors. This woman is the aunt of Reece Thompson, one of the leads in the film. She told me she is a costume designer by trade and can always count on looking chic in her white cotton shirt.

Wayne caught my eye from across the room and when I complimented him on his look he said he’s not entirely happy with his haircut, as it used to be a huge fro. I told him his hair looks great, as is. I love his youthful look!

This sultry looking fellow refused to be photographed alone, so this lovely young woman with mile long lashes posed with him. He’s got that Neil Diamond look going for him: long scarf, silver chain and the most brilliant white teeth (and not just because of the flash).
