I spotted this fine lady in London’s Furzedown area — a notorious dry zone better known for its absence of pubs than its stylish, Issey Miyake-clad grandmothers.

Who says you can’t be bold and understated at the same time? The ankle-length coat (wowzers!) dates back to the 80s, if you can believe it.

    I think puffy coats are daring indeed. I mean common, puffy goodness all the way down to the ankles! They always make a statement, you can’t argue that.
