Meet Frankie, a woman after my own heart.  I will never tire of black from head to toe  - it’s a classic look.  From her newsie cap to her perfectly fitted pea coat with gold buttons, she’s really got her look down and she’s lookin’ good.

I really had to hustle to catch up with this man, a retired architect and photographer.  He bought his first camera with a thousand cigarettes on a black market in the 1950s, then paid his way through school with one (very) good photograph of Queen Elizabeth and Winston Churchill.  His cheery yellow pants, jaunty stride and storytelling skills were a welcome start to my day.

I caught this woman in the middle of a protest in the Downtown East Side, in full swing. She posed for a moment and pranced on into the crowd. I adore the plaid jacket mixed with this Mexican-meets-gypsy ensemble.

I love this woman’s pose! When I was editing the photo I put her in every color imaginable; blue with purple hair, yellow trench with black and white skin, rainbow gradient and I tell you, you can do anything with a trench coat. She has that 1960s look to her that I adore.

This outfit is out-of-this-world. I adore the two-tone loafer and well, if you’re going to do orange, go all the way! Her outfit is such a mix of old and new, the turquoise ring and pendant necklace with the  brocade print pants (what do you call that pattern?) and to top it off, chic sunglasses and a puffy jacket. Yup. Glad.

We don’t often photograph couples, but these two are a match made in heaven. Out walking on a Saturday afternoon, stopping briefly to listen to a busker and I imagine, heading home to hang their hat and coat in a place filled with green gorgeousness.

I spotted this fine lady in London’s Furzedown area — a notorious dry zone better known for its absence of pubs than its stylish, Issey Miyake-clad grandmothers.

Who says you can’t be bold and understated at the same time? The ankle-length coat (wowzers!) dates back to the 80s, if you can believe it.

I don’t know if it’s wrong to say, but this woman is so incredibly sexy! She has the outfit, the stance and the red lipstick. She’s a woman in control, independent and getting what she wants in life. I so rarely get to see seniors in heeled black boots and I would love to know this woman’s secret on how to be comfortable and sexy at the same time.

I was first drawn to this fellow by his square tinted glasses. He told me a story about meeting a young woman  from Mexico on the street in Vancouver. She asked him for his address and for the next  14 years she wrote him letters, telling him about her life and asking him to visit. He never did make the trip, but he said she was one of the best friends he ever had. Street fashion blogs, frivolous or magical?

This Morgan Freeman doppelganger did not want to fiddle around! He gave me 30 seconds to capture his image.  I love his aviators and his got-no-time attitude.
