The woman in yellow is in her nineties. She comes here daily with her caretaker to look at English Bay.

Both women are styled from head to toe. Like a chapeau on a gentleman, a silk scarf on a woman always warrants a second glance. The navy color around the older woman’s neck picks up on her light blue skirt and the leather gloves on the bench match her shoes.

The caretaker’s plaid wool skirt is a rainy day classic.

Smart and casual.  The soft colors look great together, but I think the dark belt and glasses are key to tying this outfit together.

Normally we document street style but last week we attended an organized event that was teeming with stylish seniors.  Cheating?  Maybe.  But we captured some stunning senior fashionistas.

The Original Costume Museum Society hosted the evening, which featured Ivan Sayers’ amazing collection of historical costume.

With bakelite and victory rolls, we did our best to fit in but we were no match for these folks.
