Foam visors and polyester slacks aren’t typically my thing but I’m inspired by this woman’s dedication to pink. Spring has sprung and she’s feelin’ it! I see hot pink, pastel pink, fuchsia, coral and magenta. I think there’s even some puce in that sweater.
My own wardrobe is a sea of black and gray. This photograph signals my personal commitment to wear more color.

Her style motto is really basic: clean lines, simple design and everyday comfort.
The DIY handbag and cropped hair tip the scales of senior’s street style. She assured me she is well over 50 but wouldn’t reveal her age.

Oh nothing, just a quick trip to the produce store.
A for effort! Love the dedication to cranberry tones right from the pocket square to the feather in his fedora. No matter what the color, tone on tone never fails to win style points with me. I bet his socks are cranberry too — this gentleman had a zip in his step that smacked of matching underlayers.

This woman’s blouse is extraordinary. The poet sleeves convey whimsy. The short sleeved jacket layered on top gives the outfit an effortless look and flatters any shape. The color palette is appropriate for the timid Vancouverite, afraid to wear too much color. I love her swept hair and 60′s style sunglasses. Notice the subtle pin stripe on the pant.

I think there are two notable qualities to this woman’s style a) she mixes purple and red, always fabulous and b) her purse dog is the perfect accessory to this outfit. A match made in heaven. Amen.
